Our mission is to bring together staff professionals, specialists, educators, managers, and academic trainers to share best practices, research, resources, and expertise. This collaborative space is your platform for growth and professional development. Our vision is to establish a respected forum championing staff professionals across the continuum of education. Together, we’ll drive innovation, explore new horizons, and elevate medical educational standards. Engage with colleagues, share resources, and find like-minded peers. Your journey starts with registration on the AAMC Virtual Communities platform. Let’s build a brighter future for education together. Registration Go to https://communities.aamc.org click ‘Sign In’ on the top right corner of the page. Under ‘Not registered yet? Request an account’ complete your account information. All fields marked with the red asterisk (*) are required. It can take up to one business day for your account to be approved. You will receive a welcome email once that has happened. The username is your email address. (Note: if you have a OneAAMC account you can use the same email address and password that you use for your AAMC account in your AAMC Communities account). Please indicate your job title and job function. Please indicate the community you will be joining (enter in S.P.A.C.E – Staff Professionals Across the Continuum of Education Community). The password must be at least 8 – 30 characters in length, have at least 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter, 1 number, and one special charter (~!@#$%^&*()_+{}:”<>?). Click – Sign In to complete your AAMC Communities account. Engaging with the Community Once you become a member, please take some time to peruse the site. There are many features, not all of which are intuitive, but with a little bit of effort, it will become simple to navigate. The current setting has you automatically receiving a weekly digest from the community site. You can adjust your email frequency settings to your preference under the profile tab. Please ask your IT department or vendor to add the following domain to your organization’s allow list: connectedcommunity.org.
